Hi! I’m Amanda Parkes, I’m so excited to have you here!

My Story

Having taken art classes every semester since the beggining  of Highschool in 2015, I hope to sell art while I teach future artists! Showing them it is still possible to create with purpose in this wacky and uncertain world. 

I’m almost done school now, having completed my classes and the Equivencally of a BA, in two more years I will be a certified teacher in Ontario, Canada. 

I hope that you will stay a while, take in the scenery, following along with my Career as and artist, and path to becoming a teacher. 

Painting in classes, with kids, and on my own taught me to go slower, think about the spaces they’d be displayed and work with colour.

Painting weddings taught me to notice the in-between moments: a hand squeeze, a happy tear, and every joyful detail. Capturing those moments live for everyone to share is a wonderful thing.
